Mom Finds Pill Inside Child’s Taco
A Loretto woman was appalled to discover Friday that the taco her child was eating had a pill wrapped inside it.
The woman filed a complaint with the Lawrenceburg Police Department around 8:00 p.m. She reported she had stopped at Taco Bell and made a purchase from the drive-thru, then headed back to Loretto.
After her child had already eaten a portion of the taco, she told officers she noticed a small light green pill inside.
To ensure her child was in no danger, the victim told officers she quickly placed a call to a hospital.
Employees were able to identify the pill as a type of cholesterol medication.
The matter currently remains under investigation.
