A Tennessee woman was arrested on Monday for driving a U-Hail truck with multiple narcotics including Methamphetamine.

 

On Monday Putnam County Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop involving a U-Haul truck near exit 290 in the County.

Deputies discovered that the driver, Melinda Sharma had outstanding warrants in another county, and while Deputies spoke with the driver the smell of marijuana was present.

A search of the vehicle was conducted where 18 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 20 grams of suspected marijuana, approximately seven grams of a brown powder substance, approximately 12 doses of suspected LSD, drug paraphernalia and cash was seized.

Sharma was charged with the manufacture/ sale of meth, simple possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
