Information Not Yet Released On Alleged Drive-By Shooting

   Local authorities have not yet released information regarding an alleged “drive-by shooting” that occurred near downtown Lawrenceburg during the weekend.

   Witnesses have reported that up to eight shots were fired around 2:00 a.m. Saturday at a home  on Gallaher Boulevard, just south of the Lawrenceburg Public Square.

   Lawrenceburg Police Chief Judy Moore indicated Monday that information regarding the incident will not be released at the present time, as it might be detrimental to another on-going investigation.

   Moore expects to release details regarding the crime in coming days.
