Clerk Walks In On Patron Using Drugs
A clerk at a Lawrenceburg market told law enforcement officers last week that she had inadvertently walked in on a patron using drugs.
The employee reported to officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that she had opened the door to the women's bathroom around 4:30 p.m. to find a male patron inside.
She said that he had a syringe with the needle inserted into his arm. She said when he saw her he "got spooked" and ran out of the store, to a car, and left.
Officers noted that while fleeing the man had bled out onto the floor. The blood trail ran from the bathroom, out the front door. They found no syringes or needles inside the bathroom.
