Crews respond to fire at Columbia Farm Supply

COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WKRN) — Crews worked through the night to extinguish a fire at Columbia Farm Supply in Columbia Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to the store at 170 Beak Creek Pike around 12:40 a.m.

According to Columbia Fire & Rescue, crews arrived to find heavy fire spreading throughout the building. The fire intensified and Columbia Fire & Rescue immediately initiated a defensive fire attack due to the advanced fire conditions, according to a release.

No injuries were reported from the fire. Crews worked throughout the night extinguishing heavy fire conditions, protecting exposures and addressing numerous hotspots within the structure.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Fire officials are expected to remain on the scene throughout the day as part of the investigation process.
