Debt Collector Says Woman Tried To Hit Her With Car
Police reports show that a debt collector filed a complaint last week, claiming that a woman had attempted to hit her with her car.
The victim, age 38, reported to officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that she had gone to the woman's place of employment on Helton Drive in an attempt to make contact with her regarding a debt.
The victim told officers that the woman refused to talk to her while walking across the parking lot to her car. She said that she got into her 2003 Buick CXL, put it in reverse, and attempted to run over her.
Because the victim did not report the matter when it occurred, officers advised her about the process for obtaining a criminal summons.
