Two convicted felons were arrested following an early morning pursuit where the driver was clocked over 100 mph traveling through multiple Middle Tennessee counties.

According to investigators, it started when members of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office found a vehicle that was first observed by the Franklin Police Department.
Dash camera footage from Wednesday, May 27 shows Williamson County authorities chasing the silver Chevy in Maury County. A deputy reported on his radio that the roads were clear and the suspect’s speed was over 100 mph.
You can see a member of the Maury County Sheriff’s Department on the side of the road as the suspect blew by at 2:21 a.m., right before someone over the radio said, “Maury is advising good spikes.”
Seconds later, the suspect vehicle’s tires came apart and the car stopped. Deputies trained their weapons on the driver, ordering him to show them his hands and step out of the vehicle.
The driver — identified as 44-year-old Brandon Walker — was taken into custody at gunpoint. His passenger, 34-year-old Adrienne Smith, was also arrested.
According to the Tennessee Department of Correction, Walker sentenced to 19 years in prison for offenses that included possession of a firearm as a felon and drug charges. That sentence with TDOC ended in May 2024, but the Rutherford County Jail reported Walker was arrested for a parole violated that same year.
Meanwhile, Nashville court records show Smith has had multiple run-ins with the law, including a September 2024 arrest where she was a passenger in a stolen car and allegedly hiding a handgun in her bra. In addition, Smith was charged with two counts of failure to appear in court last year, according to Rutherford County records.
Following Wednesday morning’s pursuit, authorities said a substance believed to be fentanyl was found in the car, along with drug paraphernalia.
As of publication, both suspects are reportedly being held in the Williamson County Jail, but they already have holds placed on them from other jurisdictions.
