Murdered Summertown, Tennessee man's missing bird has been reunited with family after being found in Maury County.
A miraculous reunion happened months after Patrick Barger, 25, was murdered on St. Patrick’s and his beloved pet bird "Rikka" went missing.
In Maury County Tennessee, Lee Norman was going out to his parents’ barn when he spotted a parrot up on a beam, and managed to safely capture the bird in a laundry basket.
A family member of Norman’s had heard about the story of how the Barger family was looking for their son’s missing bird so he reached out to them through social media.
The mother, Bridget Barger was in disbelief at first when she heard how far away this bird was found and was unsure if it was actually "Rikka."
That was until she came face to face with her son’s missing bird during an emotional reunion that left her sobbing when "Rikka" immediately flew on top of Bridget’s head.
The family who is overjoyed to have their son’s bird home is now hoping that maybe their son’s murderer will be caught next.
