ATV Found Abandoned In Shoal Creek
A deputy on patrol Friday discovered that someone had abandoned an ATV in Shoal Creek after getting it stuck.
Reports filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department show that the deputy was patrolling in the vicinity of the new dam on the Highway 64 bypass when he noticed a Yamaha Grizzly 450 four wheeler in the creek. He reports that it was buried up to the seat and that no one was around.
A check revealed that the four wheeler belonged to an Ethridge resident. At the time it had not been reported stolen. It had an estimated value of $2,000.
