Ethridge Crash Leaves One Dead; One Airlifted

An afternoon crash in Ethridge has claimed the life of Lawrence County woman.

 

The Ethridge Police department says a Lorreto woman was killed and her husband airlifted to a Nashville hospital after the couple reported pulled onto Highway 43 and into the path of a north bound semitrailer truck.

Reportedly the couple was attempting to turn into Marshall's Grocery Store.

No other condition updates were available at this time.

Ethridge Police are the investigating agency and they are being assisted by the THP CIRT team.
