Lawrenceburg Council To Meet Thursday Morning
Members of the council that govern the City of Lawrenceburg will meet in regular session Thursday morning to consider passage of two different resolutions regarding a sole item of business.
To date, two resolutions are the only items of business appearing on the Thursday, May 20 agenda. Both resolutions call for members of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council to enter into a contract with an accounting firm to conduct the city’s annual audit. Council members have two options presented, however.
Under the first resolution council members may opt to select the auditing services of the accounting firm of Yeary, Howell and Associates. The second option is for auditing services to be provided by L.J. Newcome.
The meeting, which is open to the public, gets underway at 8:30 a.m. inside the commission meeting room of the Lawrenceburg City Administration Building on West Gaines Street.
