A vehicle stolen from Lawrence County was quickly recovered in Lauderdale County Alabama over the weekend.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office was dispatched over the weekend to a residence in Loretto in reference to a vehicle theft.

Upon arrival the Deputy spoke with the owner of the vehicle who reported that their 2006 Toyota Forerunner had been stolen.

The Deputy made contact with the dealership where the vehicle had been purchased from, and was able to tract it to an address on Road 48 in Lauderdale County Alabama.

The Lexington Alabama Police Department was notified, and officers were able to recover the stolen vehicle.
