Arrest Made In Perry County Car Theft Case

Perry County authorities made an arrest after a resident reported a stolen vehicle Friday.

During a search, police officers became engaged in a high-speed chase during which the suspect was traveling at speeds of around 100 miles per hour.

They later found the vehicle crashed in Perry County, however the driver had fled on foot.

The suspect, identified as 58-year-old Carlos McCoy, was located and arrested later that night in Rutherford County.
