Huntsville Alabama Firefighters rescued a man on Thursday after he fell down a 20 foot hole.

 

Huntsville Alabama Fire and Rescue responded to a home around 11:00 a.m. on McKinley Avenue after a man fell into 20 foot hole.

Rescue crews spoke with 48 News on the scene who said the man was working on the HVAC system of the house when the plywood he was standing on broke. A neighbor at the scene said the man fell 20 feet. The man was conscious and speaking when being put into the ambulance but the extent of his injuries was not known.

The Huntsville Fire and Rescue’s Special Operations and Heavy Rescue Team was called to assist in the rescue
