The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence to serve a probation warrant on a male subject. Upon arrival, deputies met with the father of the subject in the front yard.
The father then led the deputies inside of the residence where the subject was located. The subject, Johnathon Cody Wilson, was sitting in the living room when deputies entered.
Deputies made contact with Wilson explaining he had a warrant for probation and he would have a ROR bond that someone would only have to come pick him up. Wilson had requested to smoke a cigarette before leaving and walked to the back room.
The deputy did allow this and followed him where he discovered Wilson began to act nervous and started to grab things from the counter. Deputies had asked Wilson to stop reaching for things, and when he did not comply, deputies detained Wilson. After a routine search, deputies found a glass meth pipe in Wilson’s pocket.
After placing Wilson into the patrol car, deputies were allowed to search the home and found a small wooden box that contained multiple clear baggies with crystal like residue, two used needles, a funnel with residue, and a straw with residue inside it. Wilson was taken to the Lawrence County Jail and book on a Violation of Probation warrant and a new warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was issued and served.
