Loretto Begins Citywide Streetlight Conversion to LED

The City of Loretto has announced the start of a citywide conversion of streetlights to energy-efficient LED fixtures.

City officials say the project is designed to improve infrastructure, reduce operational costs, and enhance public safety through brighter and more consistent lighting throughout the community.

The city also announced the project includes updated lighting for baseball and softball fields at the Loretto Sports Complex.

Installation work is now underway. Officials say most work will take place during daylight hours, although some nighttime work may occur on larger roadways to reduce disruption.

The contractor for the project is Trace Services, operating under contract with SiteLogiq. Work is expected to continue through the summer months.
