Neighbors Report Vehicles Burglarized
A pair of neighbors reported to authorities last week that their vehicles had been vandalized outside their Caperton Avenue homes.
One victim, age 58, reported to officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that he wished to file a complaint. He said that he had found his neighbor’s car keys lying in his yard.
The victim said that he knew that his neighbor’s car had been broken into the day before. When he made the discovery, he said he began to check his own vehicles.
He discovered that someone had entered a 2008 Ford Mustang in his back yard, stealing a GPS device and a pair of prescription sunglasses.
The victim estimated loss to be $500. Investigation in the matter is continuing.
