A coordinated investigation by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources

has resulted in multiple convictions connected to illegal hunting activities in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Violations included road hunting, spotlighting, hunting without a license, hunting in a closed season, tagging violations, and unlawful possession of wildlife. Officers also seized multiple firearms, bows, two American alligators, and a False Water Cobra.
The investigation began after officers responded to a reported road-hunting incident in Jefferson County on Dec. 26, 2024. In Tennessee alone, officers filed 142 wildlife charges spanning multiple counties.
