BO'S BLESSINGS DAY

County Executive David Morgan has officially proclaimed May 11 as “Bo’s Blessings Day” in Lawrence County in honor of Bo Yocom, who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of six.

Though Bo’s time here was far too short, his kindness, generous spirit, and love for helping others continue to impact our community. Bo especially loved helping his mother, Ashley Hagan, place food in local Blessing Boxes to serve those in need.

Following his passing, Ashley created “Bo’s Blessings” to continue sharing God’s love through Blessing Boxes, outreach efforts, and acts of kindness throughout Lawrence County.

We also recognize the many volunteers, donors, and supporters who have joined this mission by helping fill and maintain Blessing Boxes and supporting outreach efforts across the county.

Lawrence County honors Bo’s memory, and we encourage our community to continue supporting Bo’s Blessings and the compassion it represents.
