Columbia Firefighters were dispatched on Thursday to overturned fuel tanker on highway.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

At approximately 3:30 AM on Thursday, May 9, 2024 a fuel tanker overturned resulting in a hazardous materials spill, dumping nearly 4,000 gallons of fuel on to Nashville Highway.

The driver of the tanker was transported, treated and released in stable condition. Both lanes are currently blocked at this time while first responding crews work diligently to clear the scene.
