Cheryl Lovett has been identified as the person who tragically died Wednesday after a tornado ripped through Columbia Tennessee.

The Family of Cheryl Lovett have confirmed her death that occurred Wednesday when a tornado struck an area north of Bear Creek Pike in Columbia.

Maury County officials said Lovett was inside a home that was blown off its foundation where her home was one of two homes that were destroyed this way by the tornado.

Lovett was found in a wooded area, among survivors where atleast 12 people were pulled from debris or wooded areas after the storm came through Maury County.

The family has set up a GoFundMe account for the family.
