Mailboxes Damaged On Union Hill Road
Law enforcement officials investigated reports of damaged mailboxes in a Leoma community Tuesday morning.
Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department report that they responded to a home where the ninety year old resident reported someone had run over his mailbox, along with his neighbor’s mailbox, at around 7:30 a.m. He said that after hitting the mailboxes, the driver fled from the scene.

Reports noted that a large amount of oil and black marks were found on the roadway.
A total of three mailboxes were damaged during the incident, leaving victims with an approximate $100 loss.
