Florence Alabama woman was arrested for terrorist threat at Listerhill Credit Union.

Reports indicate that on Wednesday a Florence, Alabama woman was arrested after she reportedly threatened an employee at Listerhill Credit Union in Petersville.

According to a statement by the Lauderdale County Sheriffs Department Samantha Hamm Clemons, 38, reportedly told a teller that she had a bomb in which she planned on coming back to burn and blow the place up.

Authorities were able to locate Clemons near the old Suntrust Bank building on Cloverdale Road where the Florence Police Department found a suspicious looking package inside the suspect's vehicle which turned out to be carpet padding wrapped in duct tape.

Clemons was charged with felony making a terrorist threat, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, and a previous warrant she had for multiple failure to appear.

At this time Clemons is being held without bond in the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
