A Lawrenceburg man was arrested after resisting arrest and possessing Methamphetamine at local Walmart.

The Lawrenceburg police department was dispatched to Walmart on North Locust on Saturday with reports of trespassing and being hostile towards employees.

After officers arrived they began approaching the suspect, Travis Knoll, 27, who was conducting himself in a loud obnoxious manner.

Knoll became aggressive towards officers after they began searching him, and he then began resisting arrest.

While searching Knoll officers found a pocket knife, and a baggie with a white substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Officers arrested Knoll charging him with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and simple possession of methamphetamine.
