Prescription Fraud Under Investigation
Employees with Kroger Pharmacy on North Locust Avenue requested assistance from police officers Monday after discovering that a customer had altered a prescription.
Employees told Lawrenceburg Police officers that a man had come in to fill a prescription from a local physician’s office, but had altered the number of pills from 7 to 17.
When they called the office to verify the prescription employees were told it had, in fact, been altered.
Investigation into the matter is on-going at this time.
