Lawrenceburg Commission To Host Budget Work Sessions

   Lawrenceburg Mayor Keith Durham announced last week that weekly work sessions will be held until the city has completed the 2008-2009 fiscal year budget ordinance.

   Members of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Commissioner decided during their April 24 business meeting that the weekly work sessions will be held each Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., beginning Tuesday, April 29.

   State law requires that municipalities adopt a budget ordinance to govern spending by the beginning of each fiscal year, which gets underway on July 1.
