Loretto Voters Select New Mayor And Alderman
Voters of the City of Loretto went to the polls Tuesday, electing a new mayor and one alderman.
Jesse E. Turner received the greatest number of votes in the mayor’s race while Steve McMasters was elected to fill a seat on the Board of Aldermen.
Numbers in the Mayor’s race were: Fred H. Simbeck, Jr. - 88, Bill Moore - 138, and Jesse E. Turner - 297.
In the alderman race Steve McMasters received 422 votes to Richard Burlison’s 81.
