Subject: Motor Vehicle Crash

On the afternoon of 4/21/2025 Lawrence County Fire Rescue units from the Iron City Station responded to a motor vehicle crash with reported injuries on Iron City Road near the Shoal Creek Bridge.

First arriving units reported significant vehicle damage and damage to the bridge. The Tennessee Department of Transportation was requested to the scene to to evaluate the bridge structure. Fortunately no significant injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

This crash occurred only a few hours after LCFR units worked a significant crash on Hwy 43 South in Leoma involving two passenger vehicles and a boat that was in tow.
