Polls Open Tuesday For Loretto Election
Polls will open Tuesday morning in the City of Loretto to fill seats on that city’s Board of Alderman.
Early voting is still underway at the Lawrence County Election Commission office on Centennial Boulevard for the May 4 Democrat Primary. On Tuesday, however, polls will also be open in Loretto.
Mayor Ronnie McMasters, who is seeking reelection to that post, is being challenged by candidate Fred H. Simbeck, Jr., In addition, candidates Gail Gieske, Harry Lanier and Willie Flippo are seeking election to seats on the board.
Voters may make their way to the polling location between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Election officials remind voters to bring along their voter registration cards in order to speed up the process.
