A SEARCH WARRANT LAST WEEK IN LAWRENCE COUNTY RESULTED IN THE ARREST OF TWO SUMMERTOWN RESIDENTS.
ACCORDING TO REPORTS, INVESTIGATORS WITH THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE RESPONDED TO A PROPERTY ON HOLLOWAY STREET ON APRIL 9TH TO EXECUTE A SEARCH WARRANT. INVESTIGATORS WERE MET IMMEDIATELY BY SAMUEL HARGROVE WHO WAS DETAINED.
THOMAS HARGROVE WAS ALSO FOUND AT THE LOCATION AND BOTH WERE READ THEIR MIRANDA RIGHTS. SAMUEL DID ADVISE THAT THERE WAS FENTANYL IN THE HOUSE AND SHOWED INVESTIGATORS WHERE.
APPROXIMATELY 6 GRAMS OF POWDER FENTANYL WAS DISCOVERED ALONG WITH SEVERAL PLASTIC BAGGIES WITH RESIDUE. IN PLAIN SIGHT OF THOMAS IN HIS ROOM, A SINGLE BAG OF A CRYSTAL-LIKE SUBSTANCE BELIEVED TO BE METH WAS FOUND ALONG WITH A DIGITAL SCALE ON THE NIGHTSTAND. ADDITIONAL FENTNYL RESIDEUE WAS ON A POKEMON CARD AND DIGITAL SCALE LOCATED IN THE HOUSE. BOTH SUBJECTS WERE ARRESTED FOR THE POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE II FOR RESALE AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. SAMUEL ALSO HAD WARRANTS OUT OF LAWRENCE AND GILES COUNTIES.
