Heath Among Five Considered For Sumner County Position
Lawrence County Director of Schools Dr. Bill Heath is among five individuals being considered to head up the school system in Sumner County.
The field of 40 applicants was narrowed to nine, then to five during a meeting April 14. Heath and four others are scheduled to interview for the position in the coming week.
If selected for the post Heath would replace outgoing Director of Schools Benny Bills.
