Authorities were dispatched to a Walmart in Tennessee after a man accidentally shot himself inside the dressing room.

 

McMinnville Tennessee Police officers were dispatched last week to the Walmart on North Chancery Street in reference to a man being shot.

Upon arrival officers discovered that a man had entered a fitting room inside the Walmart to try on pants when his pistol fell out of his pocket resulting in the firearm hitting the floor and discharging.

Reports indicate that the male victim was struck in the leg, and was transported to Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville with a bullet lodged in his leg.

At this time no further details have been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
