Last night this group of cadets completed the last night of an 80 training class at the Jason Dickey Memorial Training Center.

As of today these students can begin responding to emergency calls for service at the operations level. The next step for these students is the Live Fire training class which will certify them as interior firefighters.
The Live Fire class is scheduled to begin in May of this year. The completion of these classes is part of our minimum training standard. The State certified classes are designed to build a firm training foundation that these students will build on for the rest of their career.
These training classes would not be possible without the instructors who give their time to share their skill set with these recruits. We are grateful to the instructors from Lawrence County Fire Rescue, and the Lawrenceburg Fire Department who worked hard to train the recruits from across the County that participated in the training.
Congratulations to these students! We are thankful for the time and hard work that each student put into the training!
