While serving an arrest warrant two individuals were arrested after Lawrence County Sheriff Office were searching trailers on Bumpass Road.

On Tuesday April 7th Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office was serving an arrest warrant at a residence on Bumpass Road in Lawrenceburg.

Deputies were searching multiple trailers and outbuildings on the property for Leonard Newton when they located Jennifer Frost who had previously pleaded guilty to aggravated animal cruelty and, as part of her plea agreement was prohibited from possessing companion animals.

Frost was found in possession of four dogs inside a camper, reportedly living in extremely filthy conditions without water that were transferred to the Lawrence County/Lawrenceburg City Animal Shelter.

As a result of her actions Frost was charged with aggravated animal cruelty and taken to the Lawrence County Jail where she is being held on a $20,000 bond.

Newton, the suspect who the arrest warrant was intended for, was later found hiding under a blanket inside one of the campers.

Deputies transported Newton to the Lawrence County Jail where he was charged with a probation revocation warrant, evading arrest, and is being held without bond.
