A traffic stop resulted in Ethridge Police Officers arresting a suspect in a stolen vehicle.

 

 

According to the Ethridge Police Department their officers were conducting a traffic stop on Saturday on Hagan Road when they noticed that the vehicle they had pulled over was reported stolen in February.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was identified as Keith Haley who was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, and transported to the Lawrence County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

City Police Chief Vance Jack spoke on the arrest by saying, "Ethridge has some of the finest law enforcement officers who work tirelessly to serve and protect our community. Though our department is small, we put forth a diligent effort in pursuing all avenues of crime that affect our town. To Officers Isbell and Nichols, job well done."
