Operation Incognito begins today on Tennessee Highways.

The Tennessee Highway Safety Office is launching Operation Incognito campaign today to help eliminate distracted driving, and their main focus is to decrease the number of distracted driving crashes that occur.

The campaign which originally started last year also know as "the bus tour", had law enforcement being transported in a large, black, and tan bus marked with Tennessee Highway Patrol logos.

Inside the bus law enforcement would observe motorists for traffic violations, and then radio to officers in their patrol vehicles about the violation that was occurring.

Operation Incognito will be conducted through the rest of the week ending on Friday.

The Tennessee Highway Safety Office has offered tips to help put an end to distracted driving: put down your phone, set your GPS ahead of time, secure your kids and pets, and eat before getting into the car.
