Excellence In Education Recently Hosted By Lawrence County Schools
Lawrence County Schools recently hosted Excellence in Education receptions for the educators that scored Level 5 status during the 2011-2012 school year.
Level 5 is the highest score possible with the new teacher evaluation system and within Lawrence County Schools, over 200 teachers achieved this score.
Due to the outstanding efforts of these teachers Lawrence County remains the top system in our district.
The three receptions honoring the northern, southern, and central Level 5 educators were sponsored by Evers Construction, Elliott and Associates Insurance, and Regions Insurance, Inc.
Thanks to the sponsors the teachers and administrators were presented an award and treated to cake and punch for their well deserved achievement.
