Preliminary Hearing Rescheduled In Chapman Murder Case
Preliminary hearing scheduled for Tuesday in connection with the March 28 death of Daysha Marie Price Chapman, age 24, has been postponed.
Daysha Chapman perished inside her 73 Piney Road home after sustaining gunshot wounds, including one round to the temple. Her husband, twenty-nine-year-old Joshua Stanley Chapman was subsequently arrested on charges of first degree murder. The couple’s two young children were not present in the home at the time of the shooting.
Preliminary hearing had been slated to get underway Tuesday in Lawrence County General Sessions Court, however the hearing was rescheduled for Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.
