Tree Cutting Accident Damages Vehicle
An accident that occurred while a resident of Shady Lane was cutting a tree resulted in thousands of dollars worth of damage to a visitor’s vehicle.
The resident summoned Lawrenceburg Police Officers to the scene at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. He stated that he and a relative had been cutting down a tree on his property when the accident occurred. According to the resident, the tree fell across Hilltop Drive, landing atop a car that was parked curbside in front of 1619 Hilltop Drive.
The vehicle belonged to a resident of Briarwood Drive, who happened to be visiting the Hilltop Drive address. Damages were estimated to total $3,000.
