Youngster’s Bike Stolen, Then Returned
Police reports indicate that a youngster’s bicycle, stolen from a home on Tipton Street Tuesday night, was later returned to the owner.
A female Tipton Street resident reported the crime to officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department Tuesday morning. She indicated that the child’s 21 inch, Next Chaos, lime green bicycle had been stolen from an unlocked outbuilding at the rear of the residence. The crime, she said, took placed sometime after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Loss as a result of the crime was estimated to be $85.
Reports indicate that the youngster’s bicycle was recovered a few hours later and was returned to the young owner.
