Giles County Fire members responded to a rescue where 3 people were stuck in flooded waters.

Giles County Fire and Rescue shared the following photos, and statement on Wednesday:

"A job very well done!! GCFR members were dispatched to Bethel Rd this evening for a car off the roadway in the water.

First arriving members were on scene quickly after receiving the call and were able to deploy the raft and help the three people off the vehicle and back to the roadway.

A great job by all members Giles County Ems & Giles County Sheriff’s Deputy’s that we’re on scene and assisted.

There truly isn’t enough thanks for the men and women that VOLUNTEER their time and lives to GCFR!! Great Job tonight!!"
