Owner Interrupts Burglary Of His Truck
Law enforcement officers initiated an investigation during the weekend after a resident reported he had discovered a burglar rummaging around inside his truck.
According to reports filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched to a Henryville Road, Ethridge home around 10:00 p.m. Saturday.
The resident reported he had arrived home to find a man attired in a white shirt, rummaging through his 1992 Chevrolet truck. Once the culprit noticed him, the victim said he fled on foot into a nearby wooded area.
The victim told deputies that he was not acquainted with the man. Also, he said that nothing appeared to be damaged or missing.
