Truck Stolen From Lawrenceburg Business
A truck was reported stolen from a Lawrenceburg business sometime during the weekend.
Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that the theft occurred sometime after noon on Saturday, March 27. Employees of Meredith Mufflers on North Locust Avenue report the green and tan 1995 GMC truck with green camper top, had been left at the shop for transmission repairs.
On Tuesday workers returned to the business to find the truck was nowhere to be found. The truck, valued at $5,000, is the property of Lawrenceburg resident Charles Brewer.
The matter has been turned over for further investigation by detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division. Anyone who has knowledge about the incident is urged to contact the department at 762-2276.
