1 injured after house collapses during storm in Maury County

MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A house in Maury County collapsed overnight as severe weather tore through Middle Tennessee.

According to the Maury County Fire Department, first responders were called to Cecil Farm Road around 12:42 a.m. Monday, where the roof was ripped from a relatively new house during severe storms.

Firefighters rescued one person from the house, who suffered minor injuries. The resident was treated at the scene.

Officials said MCFD and Maury County EMS provided resources and support to the residents after the incident.
