Alabama man dies after Bar Fight leads to him hitting his head on concrete resulting in murder charge.

"On March 16, 2025, Jeremy Benson and Brandon Davis were involved in a verbal altercation at a local establishment.

The altercation escalated when Brandon Davis punched Jeremy Benson and Benson struck his head on the concrete.

As a result of his injuries, Jeremy Benson died on March 21, 2025.

Brandon Davis has been arrested for murder and is currently being held without bond in the Lauderdale County Detention Center pending an Aniyah’s Law hearing.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty"
