Council Approves Zoning Change To Allow For Mulch Business
Lawrenceburg leaders voted during a business meeting Thursday to rezone a parcel of property in order to allow for the establishment of a mulch business.
A public hearing was held during the regular bi-monthly business meeting of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council regarding the rezoning of property belonging to Mitch Taylor.
The property is situated on the west side of Triple K Avenue and was rezoned from C-4 (neighborhood convenience district) to C-3 (general commercial district). Officials indicate that the 8.17 acre parcel is to be used for the production and storage of mulch.
