Remains found in Tennessee state park have been identified as missing Grundy County man.
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office said it recovered human remains in a wooded area of Fiery Gizzard Trail on Sunday, March 23rd that were positively identified as 31-year-old Tyler Curtis.
According to previous reports Curtis walked away from his family home in the 1700 block of Pigeon Springs Road in Tracy City during the late night hours on February 21st, along with reports indicating he has a medical condition and hadn’t taken his medication.
According to law enforcement, foul play is not currently suspected in Curtis’ death, but it hasn’t been definitively ruled out at this point in the investigation.
“The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office extends its deepest condolences to the Curtis family during this incredibly difficult time,” the agency wrote on Facebook.
