The Centerville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a residential fire that was fully engulfed in flames on Saturday night.

 

According to the Centerville Volunteer Fire Department their units were dispatched to a residental fire on East Hackberry Street On Saturday where Engine Co. 1 was the first to arrive on the scene to discover the house was fully engulfed in flames, but luckily all residents were out of the home.

Crews performed a size up along with initiating a aggressive fire attack using a 2.5” handline, and as additional crews arrived a water supply was established where multiple hose lines were put into operation.

Coble Fire was requested for mutual aid where all responding units worked 7 hours during the night to extinguish the blaze.
