Lawrenceburg Police Officers were dispatched to the scene of a fatal shooting on Saturday night.

 

 

The Lawrenceburg Police Department was dispatched on Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. in reference to shots fired in the area of Mahr Avenue.

Officers arrived at B&K Apartments to discover that a man a had been fatally shot behind a building at the apartment complex.

The victim was later identified as Aaron Stem, 21 of Five Points, where evidence at the scene led officers to arrest Colby Mason, 21 for the shooting.

Mason was arrested on charges of first degree murder where he is scheduled to appear in court in May.

At this time no further details have been released regarding a motive or the events that occurred leading up to the shooting.
