Lawrenceburg Council To Meet Thursday
Members of the board that governs the City of Lawrenceburg will meet in regular session Thursday morning to consider a number of items of business.
Appearing on Thursday’s agenda for consideration are three ordinances and four resolutions. They are as follows:
*Ordinance No. 1060 -- an ordinance to amend Ordinance #789 entitled the “Zoning Ordinance of the City Of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee” and to amend the Lawrenceburg Municipal Code.
*Ordinance Number 1061 -- an ordinance to annex certain property located on West
Point Road and Franklin Drive consisting of approximately 10.005 acres, as requested by John Troup.
*Ordinance No. 1062 -- an ordinance to amend Ordinance #1055 entitled Budget Appropriations of Revenue and Expenditures for the 2009-2010 fiscal year, for the City of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
*A resolution to approve a Donation in the amount of taxes due from Buffalo Valley in regards to the New Hope Apartments and Crockett Senior Living.
*A resolution for the Board of Mayor and Council of the City of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to authorize retirement credit for military service rendered in the Armed Forces of the United States during the Persian Gulf War in accordance with Tennessee Codes Annotated, through the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System
*A resolution to approve an appropriation to a list of non-profit organizations by the City of Lawrenceburg during the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
*A resolution for the Board of Mayor and Council of the City of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to reappoint Tracy Gobble, Kenny Beavers and T. J. Hughes to the Industrial Development Board.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will get underway at 8:30 a.m. inside the commission meeting room of the Lawrenceburg City Administration Building on West Gaines Street.
